I have been practising massage for some 20 years now and I have practiced on clients from all walks of life. I first learnt Massage (Swedish) at Brixton in Devon at the South Weston School of Massage. At the time we owned a small Hotel, in which I was able to practice massage on some of the guests.
From there on I moved to Wales and opened a Therapy Suite which consisted of Sauna, Massage, and Beauty Treatments. Whilst there I went away and learnt the art of Neuro-muscular Massage/Therapy. This is what I practice most of the time now. Un-like Swedish massage which only has wet movements, Neuro-Muscular has both Wet and dry movements. Swedish massage is good for the wind down after a heavy Day - Neuro Remedial.
Both of the Treatments have simular basic movements, Effleurage, Petrissage, and Tapotment. Used lightly for Swedish massage.
